What competition opportunities are available?

DECA is the competitive organization for students in the Marketing pathway. Competitions are held at the regional, state and national level. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Business Professionals of America offers three competition events where students compete in computer events, paper/pencil tests, team and individual presentations. BPA students participate in many school and community service projects including work with the Harvey County Special Olympics.

Are there other benefits to me in the Marketing pathway?

YES! Students operate a student-run business called Mark-It where they create many products including t-shirts and engraving. Entrepreneurship students host Market Day where they sell a product of their choice and make a profit which they can keep.
