Who should take IT: Networking classes?

Students who have an interest in learning how to troubleshoot computer hardware and software, build and configure networking systems and work with technology.

What competition opportunities are available?

Business Professionals of America offers many IT competition events where students compete in individual events, paper/pencil tests, team and individual presentations. BPA students participate in many school and community service projects including work with the Harvey County Special Olympics.

Are there other benefits to me in the IT: Networking pathway?

YES! Students in the IT: Networking pathway can take take their A+ Certification after completing the IT Essentials course and take become CNET certified after completing the pathway. Students will also earn 6 hours of college credit through HCC free of charge for taking the Networking Systems and Router Basics classes.
