Precision Machining & CNC Fundementals II

82401-82408 Precision Machining & CNC Fundamentals II Grades 11 12 2-4 credits
Students will apply advanced machining techniques while working on individual projects. Emphasis will be placed on blueprint reading and related math skills. Instruction will be given on CNC (computer controlled machines), and SPC (statistical process control), a quality control system used in industry. This program will prepare students for direct entry into manufacturing or can also serve as recommendation for students wishing to pursue an engineering degree or other advanced technical training. Jr. and Sr. concurrent enrollment with HCC – NO TUITION. Eligible for local Fine Arts credit. Qualifies for Math credit.
